Ch. Loretto April Love

Molly was bred and shown by Jean Hallett and came to live with me the day after her fourth birthday. She gained 6 C.C.'s and 4 Res. C.C.'s during her show career and 3 Best of Breeds. She was Best Miniature Dachshund in Show at The Dachshund Club Show in 1996 and Reserve Best In Show at The Northern Dachshund Championship Show the following year.
She produced 10 puppies in two litters and her progeny are enjoying success in the show ring. Her daughter N.Z. Ch. Loretto Maid Welcome lives in New Zealand and won her first C.C. at the Dachshund Club of Auckland Show in 1998 aged 7 months. She was top mini wire bitch in 1998. Her litter brother is English Ch. Loretto Daniel's Dram who was top mini wire puppy in 1998. Their litter brother Johntee is a different success story.
Molly was a real sweetheart and it was a privilege to share my home with her. She joined her son from her first litter Tawny and was also related to the other dachshund members of the pack. Her death after a long illness had a profound effect on all of us.
